She gives you her honest opinion, will let you know the process before she begins and spells everything out for you. She’s taken me from blonde to dark and everything in between!

Okay let me start with the place itself - it’s such a vibe inside! Everyone is so nice and it’s just a relaxing environment to spend time in for some hair care. I have specifically been going to Kim for a long time now - she always does the BEST job with my thick wavy asian hair and I leave the salon feeling like my best self every single time. So many of my family members go to Kim at this point too, we all adore her. You can really tell how much love she puts into her work. She takes the time to learn about your specific needs / wants and while styling, makes you feel like you guys are old friends. If you are on the fence about booking an appointment here, let this be your sign to do it! Thank you cHAIR / Kim!

I got the best haircut from Felipe a few weeks ago, I am SO happy with it and how nicely it is growing out. He is such a sweetheart and exceeded what I asked for. I’ve definitely found my new stylist!

I have been to cHair twice now and had a great experience each time. The salon is super cute and inviting. Everyone in the salon is welcoming and kind. Specifically, Nina did an amazing job with my hair (color and cut)- I have already had several family members and friends make appointments with Nina and they share the same review! I will definitely be coming back. It is such a relief to have a salon and hairstylist that I can trust.

I have been getting my hair cut by Nina for over 15 years, and I can honestly say she is the best hairstylist I have ever known. She listens to EXACTLY what you want, and then brings it to life! I have been to many other hairstylists as well, and none even come close to her talent. She is so talented, I have recommended her to my 3 sisters and they have used her for cuts and even their wedding hair styles! In addition to being an amazing stylist, she is also incredibly warm and caring! She cares about her clients as people, and I feel so lucky to have found her all those years ago. I have followed her to several different salons, and she is now at Chair in Long Beach, and it is a lovely salon! If you’re looking for a stylist/salon, look no further! Nina is the best 💗

I had such a good salon experience. I have always been so nervous going into a salon and feeling out of place, but I actually had a great time and it came out great. The hair stylists were so friendly, the gentlemen stylist Felipe Ventura who I had the pleasure of sitting in his chair, dyed my hair to a nice mermaid teal and treated me to a nice wash and scalp massage. He also gave me a cut and I didn’t think they even did men’s cuts i thought they only did women’s hair but the cut also came out great. it’s been 2 weeks and the color still is vibrant and nice, he recommended some shampoo and conditioner that would keep my hair healthy and have the color last longer so the tips he gave on the up keep were super helpful too.I’ll definitely be back for more good conversation and to try another color. This place had a great vibe to it as well the salon owner has a great eye for decorating I never wanted to leave I’m embarrassed to say lol. But I will be back for sure.

Honestly my favorite salon I’ve ever been to. It’s the perfect size, intimate but still chic. The vibe is laid back and beautiful. All the stylists are crazy talented and really kind. My fave is Nina—she’s a complete magician with hair. Color is her THING. I’ve been blonde, brunette and red with her, and I’ve never left her chair anything short of infatuated with my hair. Plus she’s so down-to-earth and makes you feel immediately at home. 10/10 recommend ⭐️
